I was reading an article today that explored some of the reasons why some people just continue to create wealth as if it were second nature while most are in a continuous struggle to even survive financially.
It inspired me to shoot this video that explains one of the TOP reasons why those with wealth continue to aquire more. Or, to put it in a way that I am sure you have heard before… here is one huge reason why “The Rich Get Richer While Most Everyone Else Stays Broke…”
If you want wealth, success, lifestyle change, etc., do the things that those people who have what you want are doing.
When you see opportunities to take advantage of things or situations that you KNOW 100% without a doubt can positively impact your life, your business, and your finances… you owe it to yourself to take advantage. Do not hesitate, do not make excuses. Do what the wealthy person would do. Do what the successful person does on a daily basis and “TAKE ADVANTAGE.”

Two Words That Can Keep You From Failing in Your Online Business

There are two simple words that if you choose to live by them can pretty much guarantee that you are successful in your online business. In ANY business for that matter. The two words explained in the video are often what separate those who are highly, highly successful from those who continue to fail.

I truly believe that most people are failing online, or in their business, because they are NOT implementing due to fear of failure. It’s time to get over that fear RIGHT NOW and start implementing new sills, techniques and strategies into your business.
Truth is, even if you fail… you are light years ahead of most. Failure gives you the opportunity to move forward. The opportunity to see why something may not have worked and either improve on it, or move on. Either way, you are going in a positive direction. Here’s a quote from Theodor Roosevelt that explains what I mean. It is very powerful…
“It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how string the man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better. By following the instructions in this post… you will OWN the search engines for your name. When people come searching for you, they will see an expert who provides tremendous value.

Here is your 14 day action plan to plaster yourself all over the internet and own the search engines for your name. You will need only 5 things:
- A blog
- A Facebook FAN account
- A Twitter account
- A Youtube account
- A little elbow grease
Step 1: Get a Blog Set Up ASAP!
If you don’t have a blog yet, you absolutely need one. Your blog will serve as YOU central. It will be your main source of providing FREE value to people. Here are the steps to getting your blog set up…
- Register the domain www.YOURNAME.com – You want it to be your name for a couple of reasons. First, it’s great branding. Second, and very important, is that the search engines will love it and rank it higher. Remember, the entire purpose here is to dominate the search engines for your name. The more you make the search engines love you, the easier that will be. You can register a domain name at www.godaddy.com
- Get hosting - You absolutely want to host your blog on your own servers. You can get hosting for less than $8 a month at Hostgator. The cool thing about Hostgator is that you can install a blog on your server in just one step that’s as easy as clicking your mouse.
- Install Blog – After you have your domain name and your hosting, log into www.YOURNAME.com/cpanel. When you log in, scroll down to the “software/services” tab and click on the Fantastico option:

- On the left navigation menu, you will see “Wordpress.” Simply click that and follow the simple instructions to install your blog. It is push button easy.
Ok… so now that you have a blog installed, you need to add VALUEABLE content to it. Because this is a new blog… you want to add content to it for a minimum of 7-10 straight days. The more days, the better. After the initial 10 days, you should post 2 to 3 times per week… minimum.
Where to get content. If you are new and saying “I am new… what do I post…” here are some of my favorite spots for FREE, valueable content. Learn something new at these resources EVERY DAY,and then blog about what you learned. In addition to giving you some amazing content to post on your blog, learning from these sites daily will contribute to your success and help you to become a real expert in the industry.

Important note: Do not copy and paste from these sites. LEARN something new every day, put it into your own words and post it on your blog. Remember to post VALUEABLE content that will help others to be successful. Try and over deliver on value as much as possible. You can link out to your company or opportunity from your posts AFTER you have provided some value. People will be more open to clicking on them when you are coming off as somebody who is providing value and tying to help as opposed to somebody who is force feeding their opportunity.
Tips for optimizing content (posts) for the search engines: Be sure to include your name in the post and if you can, in the title of the post. Be natural about it. an easy way to do this is to always sign off at the end of each post. For example, I write things like:

Final Note: You can install some really cool FREE themes to make your blog look unique. Simply google “Free Wordpress Themes” and a ton of really cool sites will come up. Do not spend days or hours trying to find the perfect theme. For now, just get something that is clean and professional. You can always change it later. The object here is to get your name plastered all over the internet as quickly as possible.

Step 2: Get a Facebook FAN Page
Notice I said “FAN” page. Fan pages are cool for a few reasons. Most importantly.. they rank in the search engines. Plus, they have no limit to the number of fans. Regular facebook accounts have a 5000 “friend” limit. You don’t want to limit the number of people who can learn from and follow you. A fan page allows you to be a little more business focused. Your facebook fan page is NOT to be a place where you post a bunch of junk that nobody really cares about. It’s not a place where you are joining games and other “waste of time” activities.
Your fanpage is going to be a place where you interact with your “fans” on a personal and professional level. Allow them to get to know you while you continue to provide them with amazing value and content. The focus of your fan page is to build relationships with people and provide value. You want to establish yourself as a person that people WANT to follow. Check out and become a fan of my fanpage to see what I mean.
So… here’s what to do:
- Get a facebook fanpage here – Be sure to make your username YOUR NAME. This will help with search engines.
- Post Valueable content DAILY

Step 3: Get a Twitter Account
Twitter is another excellent spot to continue to build your brand while providing valueable content. Just like your fan page, your Twitter account should be used to build your brand and provide value to those who are choosing to follow you. Remember, you want people to WANT to follow you. If you are posting about what you had for lunch on a daily basis, or other useless stuff… who is really going to look forward to your posts?
Steps to getting Twitter account:
- Goto www.Twitter.com
- Register an account with the username being YOUR NAME. This is important for the search engine recognition. For example, mine is www.twitter.com/nickbramble. If you have a Twitter account already that does not utilize your name, get a new one.
- Post VALUEABLE content on a daily basis (especially in the first 14 days) that makes people look forward to hearing from you.

Step 4: Get a Youtube Account
If you aren’t doing videos yet on a regular basis… what the heck are you thinking! If you are afraid, or uncomfortable for some reason about getting into the video world, here’s 3 words for you… GET OVER IT!
Video is an absolute MUST in today’s age. There is NO better, more personal way to interact with lots and lots of people at a single time. Video allows you to ”connect” with people in a way that text, and audio just don’t allow. You can look into the camera and when somebody is watching the video from the other end, it’s like you are talking to them directly. It’s very powerful. Plus… the search engines still LOVE Youtube! So, it’s a great way to rank not only for your own name, but as you get more into video marketing, you can use it to help you rank for any term that you want to.
Bottom line… if you want to be successful in this industry, video is a MUST.
Steps for getting a Youtube account and using it to get your name all over the search engines:
- Get a youtube account here
- Make sure that your username includes YOUR NAME. for example, my youtube account is www.youtube.com/nickbramblevideo
- Post content driven videos as often as possible. Especially in this first 14 days while you are trying to get as much content into the search engines as possible.
Here’s a tip for you for content. Use the content you are already posting and “read” it into your camera to make a video. This way, you can get two uses out of a single source of content.
Some tips to optimize your videos correctly:
- When you upload a video, it will give you an option to put a title, description, and keywords. During this first 14 days when you are trying to get your name all over the search engines, make sure that the title includes YOUR NAME. In the description, make sure that the first thing you type is your blog address (making sure to include the http://) For example, if I made a video and wanted to link to my blog in the description, the first thing I would type is: http://www.nickbramble.com. I would then include my name in the description as well. Finally, for keywords, be sure to use your name.
Ok… so now we have FOUR different resources that google loves and that if you are posting daily will start to rank in the search engines really quickly. You can now own nearly half of the first page of google. So when somebody types your name into the search engines, you are already DOMINATING the results! But, I am going to show you how to take it to the next level and have content showing across MULTIPLE pages.
Step 5: A Little Extra Elbow Grease
If you take this next step, along with posting daily at the resources above, you can dominate multiple pages in the search engines and look like a total expert. This next step you should be doing IN ADDITION to the above.
Post an article a day EVERY DAY for 14 days at www.ezinearticles.com
The search engines, google especially, LOVES this article site. The articles that you write there can show up within 24 hours in the search engines. So, if you write a content driven, value based article every day for 14 days and submit it to EzineArticles, you will have multiple pieces of content flying all over the internet. If you are providing valueable content, you are looking like an expert that people will want to know more about. An expert that people will trust when looking to start and join a business online.
Steps to posting articles and dominating the search engines for you name:
- Get an account at www.ezinearticles.com
- It allows you to set up a profile with multiple links. Be sure to write a little blurb about yourself and include all of the links from above in the links section (your blog, facebook, twitter, and youtube)
- Write an valueable, content driven article EVERY DAY for 14 days. (See content links above for places to learn new info and skills to write about.)
- To best optimize for your name, include your name in the title AND body of the article. The title is most important. Make sure that each article has your name in the title.
- Each article you post will include an author box. Include info about you, your name, and your lnks in the author box. You can include multiple links in the author box, or… vary the links you put there. For example, in one article include your blog link, in another, your facebook link, etc.
HOT TIP: Link to the post pages of your blog as well as the main blog page. This will get MULTIPLE pages of your blog indexed and showing up in the search engines.
If you do this final step, you will not only have content across multiple pages in the search engines, but when people search for you, they will see that you are an expert in the industry. An expert that is worth learning from, following, and eventually partnering with (joining whatever company you are a part of, buying your products, etc.).
Ok… so you now have a 14 day action plan to totally dominate the search engines for your name. This is a super simple action plan that ANYONE can do and that can, and should, be started TODAY.
If you are not promoting YOU online, you are setting yourself up for failure. I am not joking when I say that this blog post can change this industry. Too many people are failing because they join a company and do nothing but talk about how great the company is, how great the products are, how unique the compensation plan is etc. Guess what… there are literally thousands of companies out there all offering basically the same thing.
What will really set you apart is becoming a person that offers extraordinary VALUE. Remember this… whenever a person gets started in an online business.. they are joining the PERSON, not the business. Knowing that, it makes no sense to be company focused… right?

Is Promoting Your Business Killing Your Business?

Does that title even make any sense? It will in a second… let me explain by first allowing you to read one of the most powerful statements that you may ever read when it comes to being successful…
“The amount of wealth that you create in this industry is directly proportional to the amount of VALUE that YOU provide.”
To get a better idea of what I mean… watch this video below from Day 2 of my powerful “9 Day Right Way Marketing Success Series.” (complete series is available for FREE in the right sidebar of this blog).
To clear up the title of this post, most people in this industry are simply promoting their business up front without paying any attention to VALUE. This will kill your online business. What it is that the company you are promoting supplies in terms of product, compensation plan, etc. gives YOU no value. What the company provides is their value, not yours.
You need to develop value within yourself that YOU can provide to others. To put it bluntly, when you are not providing value to others, you do not DESERVE success. To be successful, you have to be valuable in some way, shape, or form to others.
What you need to understand to help you fully take this in, is that you are NOT promoting a company, or products, or compensation plan. You are promoting YOU. YOU are your business. When you have that realization, it is easy to see that YOU must have some value to provide in order to be successful.
The amount of value that you can provide, plus the amount of people that you can provide your value to… determines your overall success. The really cool thing about this industry is that YOU get to determine how much value that you can provide, and how many people that you can provide this value to. Which means ultimately… YOU determine the amount of success you are able to achieve.
Did you read that? YOU are responsible for your own success. If you can handle that responsibility, your potential to create wealth in this industry truly has no limits.
Take responsibility for your business (YOU Inc.) right now and go out and start accumulating VALUE. Give people a reason to choose YOU. Because at the end of the day… YOU are what you are promoting. YOU are your business.

Knowing Why Gives You the Clarity You Need to be Successful

What is your “WHY?”
It’s always easier to accomplish anything in life when you have a clear purpose for “WHY” you are doing something. But to have absolute clarity and focus, you must know the real why. In this industry, most people think that they want to be involved in it for “Money.” So, their why, and probably your why, in your mind, is financial.
The problem is… if money is the absolute root of your why, you are not going to be successful here. To be successful in business and in life, you have to know with definitive clarity EXACTLY what your why is, and it has to go MUCH deeper than just wanting a thing, like money.
If you think that your why is simply financial, you wont have the motivation to be highly successful. Your “WHY” has to be so powerful that it pushes you to do whatever it takes. When things get tough, you must be able to look at your “WHY” for inspiration. You must be able to look at your “WHY” for strength, and for that drive you need to reach your goals.
Money will not do that for you, because money can be obtained in too many ways and is not a psychologically powerful motivator.
So, you MUST look deeper. Ask yourself “WHY” until you have the absolute root of why you want to have more financial wealth in your life. You have to go through several layers of “WHY” to reach your real reason for wanting pretty much anything in life. To give you an example… here’s what happened when I went through several layers of “WHY” to get to the root of what I really wanted in my life. As you will see, what I ended up wanting is so powerful that it drives me in ways that simply wanting money can never do.
So, I asked myself…. “Nick, why do you want to be in this industry and have your own business?” Here is how my levels of why went…
I wanted more money… why?
Because I hated being at my job (even though it paid my bills and left me comfortable)…. Why?
Because I hated how my life was being controlled by someone other than me…. Why?
Because I wanted the freedom to do what I wanted when I chose to do it (nobody telling me when to get up, when to go to work, when to take lunch, when I could go home, how much I could make, etc.)… Why… what did you want to do with that freedom?
Devote it to the people and the things that I love the most in life… why?
Because spending time with those that I love and doing the things that I enjoy makes my heart happy… why?
Because it allows me to feel “life” and appreciate “life.” That feeling of life and being able to enjoy it in the moment is such a tremendously powerful experience that if fuels my soul and gives me such feelings of joy and abundance that actually have nothing to do with money or things which is what I thought I wanted.
My Real “WHY”:
I want to feel the abundance of life and live as much of it in the “Now” to be able to truly experience as much of “life” as possible.
So… what do you think is a better “WHY” for me? Money… or, what I discovered as my root “WHY?” The choice is completely obvious of course. My root “WHY” ended up being a why that is powerful enough to push me to do greater things. A why that gives me strength, and purpose, and drive. A why that motivates me to reach my highest potential as not only an Entrepreneur, but as a person in order to appreciate all that life has to offer.
So… I will ask you again… what is your “WHY?”

Give Somebody You Love Some Clarity… Tweet This!
Literally Write Your Own Checks!

There are a ton of skills that you could master in order to become a type flight internet marketer. NONE is more powerful, or more profitable, than mastering the power of the written word. When you do that, you can write a single bit of ad copy, throw it up on a website and pull cash from that website until the end of time.
In addition to that, your sales or ad copy drives your entire sales funnel online.
- In order to get a person to visit your website, you have to be able to write an effective ad.
- Then, the ad copy on your sales page has to be powerful enough to make them want to out in.
- After opting in (if you have your funnel set up correctly) they will land on your sales page for your opportunity or product. The ad copy on this page must be at it’s best to get your prospect to open their wallet and spend money with you.
- And finally… in the background, you have your email copy that is dripping on your prospects multiple times every week. The copy in these emails has to be powerful enough to build your prospects trust in you AND keep them opening your emails and going to your sites (where they can open their wallets again and again).
As you can see… being able to write great ad copy can mean the difference between success and failure.It is the ultimate skill and should be one of the first things that you learn online. It is tremendously powerful. when you know how to properly structure and write ad copy, you can command your list, prospects, website visitors to take the actions that you want them to take. Which ultimately, is to spend money with you.
There is one general formula of persuasion that has been used for nearly all of time to “persuade” people to do everything from joining cults and wars, to making sales. It is VERY powerful and literally may be the most important and powerful equation you may ever see. Here is the “Equation of Persuasion.”
First is you must find a big problem that is causing people pain, distress, fear, anger, etc.
+ Add to it a unique solution to the problem
For example, in the network marketing industry 98% of everyone is failing. Offer them training and mentoring on how to run a successful business. But try and offer something unique, or come from an angle that most are not to really take advantage of this principle.
+ Add Factual Proof that you can solve the problem
This could be your own success proof, testimonials of your clients, videos, or anything that shows without a doubt that what you are offering works.
+ Add a Risk Free Offer of some sort giving no reason to refuse your offer
Allow your prospects to try it free for 7 days, or to join a membership program for $7 for the first 7 days. Offer some sort of money back guarantee, etc. This gives the prospect security to make the purchase and if what you are offering is of value, you don;t have to worry about cancellations, refunds, etc.
+ Add some sort of fear of loss
You can do this in many ways, such as, only make the product available for a limited time, or to a limited number. Use a one time offer (OTO) where they can get it at a discount if they buy right now. Offer bonuses for the first 50, 100, etc. Give them some extra reason to act now.
Add ALL of that together and it equals = PERSUASION!
It’s a simply formula which when applied to every element of your sales process is VERY, VERY powerful. Learn it, know it, expand on it and you will profit greatly from it.
